Why your gift matters
A small community doing two-way work. Med&X is a Croatian biomedical non-profit run largely by scientists and clinicians who give their time. We do not have an endowment behind us. What we have is a network, and the will to keep it moving in both directions: Croatian talent reaching the world, and the world reaching back into Croatian science.
Your support is what turns that network into plane tickets, lab internships, open seats, and conversations that would not otherwise happen.
Research-exchange internships. Support students and early-career scientists traveling between Croatian and international labs. Internships that send Croatian students and early-career scientists into leading labs abroad, and bring international researchers into Croatian science.
The Plexus Conference. Help bring leading speakers to Croatia and keep attendance within reach for students. An annual flagship that brings world-leading speakers to Croatia and keeps a real number of seats open to students and trainees.
