Plain words about your data.

Who we are. Med&X Association (udruga), Mosećka 128, 21000 Split, Croatia. We are the data controller for anything you share on this site or in our member portal. Reach us at info@medx.hr.

What we collect, and why. When you subscribe to updates we keep your email address to send you a few emails a year. When you send a sponsorship or support inquiry we keep the details you type so we can reply. When you register for an event through our member portal we keep your name, contact details, institution, and any dietary needs you tell us, so we can run the event you signed up for. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your card number.

What we do not do. We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers on this site. We do not send you anything beyond what you asked for.

Where it lives. Form submissions are stored with our hosting provider (Netlify) and member data lives in our own member system hosted in the EU-adjacent cloud. We keep data only as long as the purpose stands, and event data is retained for our legal and reporting obligations as a registered Croatian non-profit.

Your rights. Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. One email to info@medx.hr does it. You can also complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) if you believe we have handled your data badly.
